Consulting Director – Advancement & Fundraising, Healthcare, Academic Medicine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients in healthcare and academic medicine.

• Spearhead the development and presentation of high-quality, data-driven reports and presentations.

• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders, including executive teams and boards.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate high-performing consulting teams.

• Propel revenue growth through the development of proposals and the expansion of client relationships.

• Enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize client service delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of frontline development experience within academic medicine, healthcare systems, or hospitals.

• Proven ability to build and manage philanthropic programs successfully.

• Experience with major and principal gifts.

• Background in annual giving and program support.

• Experience in corporate and foundation relations.

• Familiarity with grateful patient and planned giving initiatives.

• Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing comprehensive campaigns and strategic fundraising efforts.

• A solid track record of directly closing major or principal gifts and leading high-performing teams.

• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, boards, and clinical or academic stakeholders.
