This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans that align with client goals, enhance account value, and meet retention and revenue targets.
• Act as the principal strategic consultant for prominent accounts, clients, and broker partners.
• Spearhead strategies for renewals, retention, and upselling.
• Perform evaluations of performance and analyze client data, trends, and business challenges.
• Identify business needs and propose customized, data-driven solutions.
• Foster relationships with executive-level clients and broker stakeholders.
• Facilitate client meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
• Collaborate across departments for implementation, service delivery, and issue resolution.
• Guide and support team members by sharing expertise in account management.
• Oversee account performance, financial outcomes, and indicators of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry advancements.
• Spot opportunities for account growth, additional services, and innovative solutions.
• Ensure accountability for strategic initiatives, action plans, and client commitments.
• Assess project plans, coordinate activities, and identify necessary changes.
• Define and modify project delivery timelines as needed.
• Establish, monitor, and report on team and project metrics to leadership.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in employee benefits along with a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficient in business mathematics and complex analytical skills.
• Exceptional consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
• Strong time management skills with experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Capability to meet specific deliverables amidst considerable pressure and tight timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for formal business presentations.
• Ability to work independently and resourcefully with minimal oversight.
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels in a collaborative setting.
• Advanced problem-solving skills with a capacity to work cross-functionally.
• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Access to a personal vehicle and ability to cover travel-related expenses until reimbursement.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record check.
• Automobile liability insurance with coverage limits of $250,000/$500,000.
• A valid Life and Health Insurance Producer License must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
