This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
• Assist in all facets of legal technology consulting initiatives, which include gathering requirements, documenting processes, and implementing solutions.
• Analyze client business workflows, pinpoint requirements, and convert business needs into technical specifications and designs.
• Prepare project documentation such as findings and recommendations, functional and technical design documents, data maps, test scripts, training and communication plans, and training manuals.
• Configure and develop technologies in accordance with technical specifications and designs.
• Manage system testing, monitor defects, and work in conjunction with technology providers and clients to address and resolve issues.
• Aid in overseeing project scope, schedules, work plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee client expectations and project scope while maintaining direct communication with clients and nurturing relationships.
• Attain proficiency in the legal technologies utilized in ongoing projects.
• Investigate trends in the legal sector and technology, including product advancements, best practices, emerging technologies, and AI applications.
• Support business development activities, which encompass proposals, work plans, and presentations.
• Contribute to the advancement and growth of Harbor’s Corporate Legal Technology team and the organization.
• A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in the legal or consulting field.
• Over 3 years of experience in legal technology encompassing assessments, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Proven experience in implementing ELM/eBilling, Matter Management, Legal Hold, and Legal Workflow tools.
• Preference for experience with TeamConnect and CounselLink; familiarity with WK T360, Onit/SimpleLegal, Litify, Legal Tracker, Brightflag, doeLegal, and similar platforms.
• Experience in related data migration and integration workstreams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Data & Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Knowledge of implementation processes including requirements analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, and change management.
• Strong observational, analytical, numerical reasoning, business acumen, problem-solving, leadership, process-mapping, communication, storytelling, organizational, and client-service abilities.
• Experience in project management overseeing tasks, resources, and financials across technology implementation projects.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and uphold high standards and attention to detail.
• Competence in creating client deliverables with moderate oversight and enhancing team operational efficiency.
• Willingness to learn and develop new subject matter expertise and business skills.
• Advanced proficiency in computer applications, primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint as collaborative tools.
