Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a substantial and varied caseload for the Firm’s clients in Hawaii.

• Engage with clients concerning their individual cases.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and contracts.

• Examine agreements.

• Interact with opposing parties to negotiate or settle claims.

• Perform legal research on both straightforward and intricate issues in contract law and other consumer law domains.

• Travel as necessary for in-court appearances.

• Communicate with the New York headquarters through phone and electronic platforms, including email and Microsoft Teams.

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Hawaii.

• At least 1 year of pertinent experience in a law firm setting.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to tight deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels.

• Proficient legal research skills.

• Experience with LexisNexis is advantageous.
