Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s Nevada clientele.

• Engage in communication with clients regarding their individual cases.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and agreements.

• Evaluate agreements thoroughly.

• Liaise with opposing parties to negotiate or settle claims.

• Conduct legal research on both straightforward and intricate issues in contract law and other aspects of consumer law.

• Travel as necessary for court appearances.

• Interact with the New York headquarters solely through telephone and electronic channels, including email and Microsoft Teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Nevada.

• At least 1 year of pertinent experience in a law firm environment.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Adherence to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and colleagues at all levels.

• Proficient legal research capabilities.

• Familiarity with LexisNexis is an advantage.

• Must currently reside in Nevada.

• Openness to managing a substantial workload.
