Consultant – ICT Infrastructure Specialist, Cloud Computing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development of technical studies that encompass: the needs of the Contracting Party, current scenario (as-is), identification of issues and limitations, market comparative analysis, suggested technical scenarios and investment alternatives (to-be), among other details, in compliance with the standards and requirements set by the Contracting Party and prevailing legislation.

• Creation of technical specifications to formulate Terms of Reference for the administrative procurement processes of the Contracting Party, ensuring compatibility with its standards and requirements and adherence to current legislation.

• Identify opportunities, assess and confirm the technical and strategic feasibility of projects, guaranteeing solutions that align with the needs of the Contracting Party.

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer through workshops and training sessions focused on processes and technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher (undergraduate and/or postgraduate) in Information Technology.

• Relevant certifications and professional courses that enhance the required activities, such as those in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

• The primary technologies utilized in the Contracting Party's data centers to deliver various ICT services include:

• Network: Cisco Nexus, Catalyst and ACI; NSX-T; Fortinet FortiGate.

• Security: Fortinet FortiGate; Symantec SESC/SEP; EDR; CASB.

• Compute: Dell blade servers and Unisys mainframe.

• Storage and Backup: SAN and NAS storage solutions from IBM, EMC, and Dell.

• Virtualization: VMware Cloud Foundation.

• Operating Systems: Windows, Windows Server, SUSE Linux, and Oracle Linux.

• Application Platforms and Databases: DMSII (Mainframe), Oracle Exadata, Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

• Data Integration: OpenText Data Bridge and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

• Application Platforms and Containers: OpenShift.

• Identity and Access Management: OpenText IDM, Microsoft Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, and RH-SSO.
