Senior Cloud Architect, German Skills

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and enhance cloud architectures and operating models utilizing AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Establish and uphold cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and best practices.

• Develop robust security, governance, and management processes for cloud platforms and applications.

• Guarantee the security, scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud-based solutions.

• Assess business and technical requirements and convert them into sustainable cloud architectures.

• Collaborate effectively with software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to facilitate automation and cloud-native solutions.

• Assist in technical decision-making and articulate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Lead cloud modernization initiatives and guide customers throughout their cloud transformation journey.

• Monitor and enhance cloud costs, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Multiple years of professional experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or infrastructure settings.

• Profound expertise in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including the design and management of cloud-native solutions.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.

• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, and governance concepts.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

• Outstanding communication and consulting skills with the capacity to engage confidently with customers and stakeholders.

• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure) are considered advantageous.

• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

• Proficiency in English and German.
