Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Operate, support, and optimize highly available and scalable Microsoft Azure environments.

• Manage Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, networks, storage, load balancers, Application Gateway, and AKS.

• Administer identities and access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including RBAC and security policies.

• Implement and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring performance and user experience.

• Monitor environments utilizing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Defender for Cloud.

• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization.

• Implement and maintain backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, governance, and regulatory requirements.

• Resolve incidents and troubleshoot in cloud and hybrid environments.

• Collaborate with application, network, security, and DevOps teams on migration and modernization initiatives.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

• Engage in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement.

• Serve as a technical reference and support the development of less experienced professionals.

• Assist in change management processes to ensure environment stability.

• Evaluate new Azure technologies and services aligned with business objectives.

• Participate in support rotations and respond to critical incident reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Knowledge in administration of Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Virtualization).

• Experience with monitoring, observability, and native Azure tools.

• Knowledge in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containers.

• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and automation.

• Knowledge in API Management and integration services.

• Experience with databases in Azure environments.

• Experience with cloud security and best governance practices.

• Advanced/Fluent English proficiency.
