Consultant – Global Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, analyze, and prioritize security events, alerts, and incidents.

• Perform initial evaluations and comprehensive technical analyses as part of incident response.

• Oversee and manage alerts from SIEM, XDR, EDR, and cloud security solutions.

• Detect attack patterns, vulnerabilities, and security-related anomalies.

• Record incidents, actions taken, and insights gained.

• Assist in the ongoing development of detection use cases, playbooks, and automations.

• Participate in security assessments, customer workshops, and technical evaluations.

• Collaborate closely with Security Architects, Consultants, the SOC team, and customer stakeholders.

• Aid in the continuous enhancement of security services and operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education or training in computer science, IT security, network engineering, or a related field.

• Alternatively, relevant professional experience in security, infrastructure, cloud, or modern workplace settings.

• Initial to several years of experience in security operations, incident response, SOC, SIEM, or endpoint security.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft security technologies, along with fundamental cloud and network architectures.

• Analytical mindset and eagerness to investigate technical relationships in a systematic way.

• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and an independent working approach.

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer and solution orientation.

• Willingness to learn, ability to work collaboratively, and interest in ongoing professional development in the cybersecurity domain.

• Certifications such as SC-200, AZ-500, MS-500, Security+, CySA+, or similar qualifications are advantageous.

• Openness to travel throughout Austria.
