Consultant, GAAP Advisory – Fiscal Operations Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.

📋 Description

• Process client information for incorporation into GAAP financial statements, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.

• Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting challenges by adhering to professional standards, including U.S. GAAP.

• Propose enhancements to business processes based on client operations, procedures, and goals.

• Foster client relationships and communicate effectively to deliver exceptional client service.

• Engage in internal and external training sessions as well as networking events.

• Support campus recruitment efforts, recommend qualified candidates, and take part in the firm's Employee Referral Bonus Program.

• Aid in the compilation of Schedules of Federal Expenditures for clients.

• Travel may be required, although it is limited.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

• CPA eligibility preferred.

• Experience in providing attest services within a professional services firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).

• Knowledge of Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards.

• Strong communication, public speaking, client service, relationship-building, personal development, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

• Initiative and adaptability.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
