Consultant, Climate Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with colleagues and the Ramboll Management Consulting team to implement client projects

• Perform research, conduct client interviews, and analyze data to evaluate opportunities for reducing energy, GHG emissions, and resource usage throughout the value chain

• Construct financial analyses for sustainability-focused business initiatives, including circular economy models and transitions to renewable energy

• Create client-facing presentations that outline project progress, updates, analytical findings, and strategic recommendations

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals through client and peer research, gathering qualifications and team resumes, and outlining proposed methodologies

• Engage directly with clients to enhance environmental impact and cultivate sustainability expertise and consulting abilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, environmental studies, or a related field

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting, project/program management, finance/economics, and/or sustainability

• Entry-level candidates may be considered based on the quality of internship and other practical experiences

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Sponsorship is not available

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

• Familiarity with quantitative analysis, risk forecasting, financial modeling, and handling complex data sets

• Strong skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting

• Exceptional attention to detail

• High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Experience with AI-based tools is preferred
