Consultant, Climate Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with colleagues within the Ramboll Management Consulting team to implement client projects.

• Perform research, engage with clients through interviews, and analyze data to identify potential improvements in energy efficiency, GHG emissions, and resource usage throughout the value chain.

• Create financial analyses to evaluate business opportunities related to sustainability, including circular economy initiatives and transitions to renewable energy.

• Prepare client-facing presentations that convey project updates, analytical insights, research results, and actionable recommendations.

• Assist in the development of project proposals by conducting research on clients and peers, gathering qualifications, compiling team resumes, and outlining proposed methodologies.

• Work closely with clients to enhance environmental impact while advancing sustainability knowledge and consulting capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, environmental studies, or related disciplines.

• Over 2 years of experience in consulting, project or program management, finance or economics, and/or sustainability; entry-level candidates may be considered based on internships and applicable experience.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• No sponsorship will be provided.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, risk forecasting, financial modeling, and working with complex data sets.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking capabilities.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• High proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with AI-based tools is preferred.
