Consultant Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct compliance audits for one of the following service areas: Building Consultancy, Business Rates, Project Management, Property Asset Management, Restructuring & Recovery (Insolvency), Rural (Lettings / Asset Management / Consultancy), or Strategic Consultancy.

• Review documentation and files throughout the complete instruction process.

• Evaluate compliance based on established audit criteria.

• Prepare audit reports that highlight issues, risks, and suggestions for enhancements.

• Relay audit findings to individual auditees.

• Assist in developing audit assessment criteria pertinent to the specific service line.

• Execute audits according to an audit plan, contributing to reports for governing bodies across the Firm.

• Perform independent audits by analyzing systems and documentation.

• Recognize risks and issues.

• Offer recommendations for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professionally qualified, e.g. MRICS/NARA/IRRV/CCAB (mandatory).

• Over 5 years of audit or operational experience within one of the specified service lines (mandatory).

• Familiarity with RICS professional standards.

• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Flexible, adaptable, and cooperative, with the capacity to stay composed under pressure.

• High level of proficiency in English grammar and spelling.

• Commitment to presenting work neatly, with a fair and diligent approach.

• Strong dedication with considerable attention to detail and effective time management skills.

• High degree of IT proficiency (mandatory).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Access to a personal computer and internet connection.

• Knowledge of Power BI (advantageous but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with audit systems (advantageous but not mandatory).
