This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Contribute to saving lives, minimizing serious injuries, and enhancing clients’ safety culture through initiatives aimed at organizational change.
• Present workshops and deliver presentations to diverse groups of varying sizes.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching in the field for clients.
• Advance into project management roles for increasingly intricate client projects.
• Comprehend client goals and tailor DEKRA’s centerline model for effective engagements.
• Establish and facilitate solid safety governance that aligns with client frameworks.
• Implement DEKRA’s solutions utilizing leadership, safety, and project-execution resources.
• Mentor client leaders from frontline personnel to senior management and act as a reliable advisor.
• Monitor progress towards client goals and modify plans as needed.
• Maintain open communication with client leadership regarding safety performance, business challenges, and industry trends.
• Produce internal deliverables and adhere to deadlines.
• Enable and oversee project-team achievements while leading client projects.
• Integrate solutions throughout the client organization.
• Communicate effectively with delivery and project teams.
• Offer performance feedback to consultants and promote success stories and guidance.
• Manage project plans and consultant schedules.
• Fulfill assigned billable hours and participate in internal projects.
• Drive projects towards realization-rate objectives and consultant utilization.
• Achieve accuracy in monthly forecasts.
• Strengthen client relationships by identifying additional opportunities.
• Maintain professional credibility both internally and externally.
• Secure client references for future endeavors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a secure working environment.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in organizational change, operations with safety responsibilities, industrial consulting, or a safety-related role.
• CSP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• LEAN Green/Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Experience presenting to leaders spanning from first-line to senior management levels.
• Proven cognitive flexibility.
• Ability to adeptly navigate client ambiguity.
• Capacity to cultivate in-depth knowledge of DEKRA solutions.
• Skill in interpreting how non-safety processes influence safety and culture.
• Capability to formulate strategic plans that support the scope of work and safety excellence.
• Proficiency in managing client excellence alongside DEKRA’s business.
• Ability to foster a project-team culture that aligns with business values.
• Proficient in governance structures and their application.
• Knowledgeable in leading and lagging metrics.
• Experienced in effective change management.
• Familiar with best practices in Safety Management Systems.
• Able to lead a matrixed team effectively.
• Skilled in developing others.
• Willingness to work in diverse client locations, environments, and conditions.
• Flexible with working various shifts based on client activities.
• Capable of extensive travel, including challenging travel and prolonged driving periods.
• Ability to move freely with a full range of motion.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. of luggage.
• Capacity to perform extended periods of computer-based work and standing.
• Availability for domestic and/or potential international travel, estimated up to 75%.
• Competitive hourly professional fees ranging from $70/hour CAD to $180/hour CAD based on the nature of the work performed.
