Construction Manager – Installation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Supervise, manage, and assist with all on-site construction and radar installation operations at designated RSR locations.

• Lead and coordinate radar installation teams and subcontractors to guarantee that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.

• Act as the primary on-site liaison for construction activities, engaging with FAA facility representatives, engineering teams, and program leadership.

• Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including FAA site safety protocols and contractor safety plans.

• Synchronize construction activities with system engineering, logistics, and program control teams to ensure consistency with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

• Track construction progress, identify potential issues or risks, and implement corrective measures to mitigate schedule impacts.

• Evaluate construction work for quality and completeness, ensuring that installations comply with technical, contractual, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in site readiness tasks, including site surveys, construction planning, and pre-installation coordination.

• Record construction progress, issues, and resolutions through daily reports, field logs, and status updates.

• Facilitate installation testing, commissioning, and system acceptance processes, addressing construction-related discrepancies as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in construction management or field supervision for large-scale technical or infrastructure deployment projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Experience managing installation teams and subcontractors at active construction or technical sites.

• In-depth knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, site plans, and technical installation documents.

• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with the capability to effectively coordinate across field teams, engineers, and customer stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, field-based environment.

• Willingness and capability to travel extensively to FAA sites nationwide.

• US Citizenship is required to successfully complete a government investigation.
