This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the entire building process for various construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop scopes of work, collaborate with contractors, delegate tasks, and provide updates on project progress.
• Select, contract, and supervise contractors for specific projects, significant upgrades, and other construction-related undertakings.
• Monitor each contractor and subcontractor to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with Smartaira’s SOW (Scope of Work) and technical specifications.
• Provide leadership during the initial planning phase by working closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders; create detailed descriptions of tasks and materials required for each project.
• Schedule and coordinate projects in a systematic manner and allocate time effectively to meet all deadlines.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates while maintaining regular communication with clients regarding budget status and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with budget constraints and make prompt adjustments as needed when unforeseen complications or issues arise, following established Change Management processes and approval protocols.
• Plan, organize, manage, and direct activities related to the construction and maintenance of designated structures, facilities, and systems.
• Ensure that safety standards and regulations are upheld on the job site and that all safety codes are satisfied during construction.
• Oversee contract negotiations, modifications, and compliance by all involved parties.
• Collaborate with clients, supervisory personnel, and contractors to address and resolve issues, including work procedures, complaints, and construction challenges.
• Manage and lead necessary actions in response to delays, inclement weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of individuals, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespeople, and craft workers.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in construction project management is required.
• Certification as a Construction Manager by the American Institute of Constructors or the Construction Management Association of America is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in construction science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) designation and/or PMI (Project Management Institute) certifications or their equivalent are preferred.
• BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services Industry) or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Recognized industry training and certifications in WiFi/WLAN are required.
