This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provides leadership for construction execution and capital delivery across a varied portfolio.

• Oversees construction delivery for a multi-site portfolio, guiding internal project advisors, external project managers, contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to achieve safe, timely, and cost-efficient results.

• Manages the complete delivery process from project initiation to turnover, encompassing scope alignment, schedule management, key metric reporting, open-date readiness, punch-list resolution, and financial closeout.

• Ensures disciplined management of capital and expense budgets, including payments, change orders, cost forecasting, and budget performance while adhering to financial controls and governance standards.

• Coordinates decisions and information flow among Real Estate, Design, Operations, IT, Hospitality, Finance, Facilities Services, HSSE, Legal, and related partners to expedite approvals, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum.

• Leads the response to emergency capital repairs and significant field issues, mobilizing resources swiftly while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance are upheld.

• Directs project kickoffs, site visits, review meetings, and turnover activities to enhance construction quality and ensure timely completion of punch lists.

• Contributes to strategic growth through site surveys, cost estimation, capital planning, and due diligence for new constructions, acquisitions, refreshes, and other investment opportunities.

• Maintains organized project documentation, consistent reporting cadence, and file integrity while providing senior leadership with clear insights into critical risks, delivery impacts, and cost exposure.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of pertinent experience in construction, capital delivery, or multi-site retail development, showcasing leadership in project execution, contractor management, and cross-functional alignment.

• Extensive knowledge in construction operations, budget management, schedule oversight, change control, and project reporting within complex, field-based programs.

• Experience in retail fuel, UST systems, petroleum, convenience retail, or other highly regulated construction environments is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional executive-level communication and influencing abilities, capable of engaging leadership, business partners, contractors, consultants, and field teams in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.

• Strong operational discipline and sound organizational judgment, adept at balancing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity, and sustaining execution across a complex portfolio.

• Industry certifications, including OSHA and petroleum- or construction-related credentials such as API, are advantageous.
