Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the company's interests by overseeing construction and project management initiatives.

• Drive project execution by adhering to Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and Operational Excellence standards.

• Work closely with the Project Manager on pre-construction activities, procurement, sequencing installation tasks, training, and commissioning.

• Analyze and create constructability plans during the investment development phase.

• Oversee site operations for all construction activities related to the assigned project.

• Supervise onsite contractors in their sequential responsibilities associated with their specific functional areas.

• Ensure effective field coordination with all vendors and site operations.

• Manage scheduled line downtime to prevent any adverse effects on customer requirements.

• Execute the project plan by effectively managing scheduled line downtime.

• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure that ongoing plant modifications are accurately documented.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical, Construction Management, Industrial).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or project engineering.

• Proven experience in directing, leading, and influencing cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is essential.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% monthly.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Proven proficiency in using Microsoft Project/Smartsheet.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
