Construction AI Technology Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leadership and functional teams within the operating company to pinpoint viable AI use cases that enhance speed, consistency, communication, and administrative efficiency.

• Spearhead the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Copilot along with other sanctioned AI tools throughout operating companies, ensuring alignment with IT and security protocols.

• Assess workflows in various domains including estimating, project management, procurement, finance support, service administration, HR assistance, and executive reporting to identify opportunities for AI integration.

• Create and conduct training sessions for leaders, managers, and staff regarding the effective utilization of Microsoft Copilot and associated tools.

• Initiate and provide support for pilot projects with chosen operating companies and business divisions.

• Record lessons learned, successful use cases, and scalable practices that can be disseminated across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, operations, information systems, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Proven experience in AI implementation, digital transformation, business systems adoption, process enhancement, change management, or a similar role.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot applications and their use cases.

• Experience in training or enabling users across a spectrum of technical skill levels.

• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the capacity to articulate technical capabilities in practical business contexts.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.

• Strong judgment, with the skill to differentiate between substantial business value and technology that serves no real purpose.

• Experience in construction, building services, industrial services, or field-oriented operations is highly preferred.
