This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Oversee planning and optimization initiatives for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks.
• Establish and apply tuning strategies to enhance sites and clusters.
• Evaluate and refine Drive Test outcomes (TEMS Discovery) while conducting End-to-End analyses.
• Track and enhance network performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Lead root cause analyses (RCA) and determine corrective measures.
• Manage the implementation and validation of RAN, Core, and Open RAN solutions.
• Act as a point of escalation for intricate performance, integration, and configuration challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Optimization, Operations, and Customer Support.
• Advocate for automation, data analysis, and the application of Business Intelligence tools.
• Generate technical and executive reports and engage in quality governance activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Demonstrated expertise with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G NR networks.
• In-depth understanding of RF, communications theory, mobility, signaling, and network optimization.
• Strong knowledge of RAN KPIs, parameters, and performance metrics.
• Experience in RF optimization, performance management, and capacity planning for LTE and 5G.
• Familiarity with multi-vendor environments.
• Proficient with tools such as: ATOLL; TEMS Discovery; NetAct; U2020; Performance Manager.
• English proficiency of B2 level or above.
