Conjugate Heat Transfer Engineer

📋 Description

• Utilize computational tools to conduct thermal and/or CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery.

• Spearhead the development of geometry and mesh for analysis models.

• Post-process data and create high-quality presentations of results.

• Prepare and deliver reports on findings during formal technical reviews.

• Develop, support, and maintain secondary airflow system models as well as whole engine models.

• Assist in the verification and validation efforts of test and fielded hardware.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT), CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, and Secondary Airflow Systems.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Familiarity with gas turbines is highly desirable.

• Experience with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or CFX is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in scripting tools, such as APDL or Python.

• Strong command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
