This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform comprehensive conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
• Evaluate reports to detect potential conflicts of interest.
• Collaborate with attorneys to address and resolve issues.
• Formulate and execute conflict resolution strategies.
• Keep meticulous records.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies and ethical standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as law, business, or finance.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal certification is advantageous.
• Prior experience in conflict analysis, ideally within a law firm or legal department.
• Strong grasp of legal ethics, confidentiality, and rules and regulations regarding conflicts of interest.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to review intricate legal information.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a dedication to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
