Configuration Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of a specific shift within the Configuration department.

• Organize and direct daily shift activities to meet productivity, quality, and service goals while ensuring safety.

• Establish daily objectives and priorities for the team.

• Maintain both internal and external service standards.

• Work together with supervisors and other departments to address issues and enhance workflows.

• Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports through constructive feedback and performance management.

• Strengthen the talent pipeline through succession planning and employee development.

• Conduct performance appraisals, return-to-work discussions, and payroll-related tasks.

• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

• Handle investigations regarding conduct, capability, and absence, as well as disciplinary procedures, excluding termination.

• Gather, analyze, and report on operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Recognize trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Advocate for continuous improvement and process evaluation through root cause analysis.

• Promote accuracy, waste reduction, and enhancements in efficiency.

• Uphold safe working practices and adherence to Health & Safety regulations.

• Encourage professional behavior and alignment with company values.

• Foster and maintain a positive culture centered on teamwork, quality, productivity, and accountability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in supply chain, warehouse, or operational settings.

• Strong skills in people management and leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and effectively manage time.

• Confident self-starter with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

• Proficient in Microsoft O365.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Technical or configuration experience is desirable.

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.

• Possess a university degree or A-Level/GCSE (or equivalent).

• ITIL V4 certification is desirable.

• Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.

• IOSH certification is desirable.

• Knowledge of 5S Working Practices is desirable.

• Willingness to explore how AI can enhance strategy, decision-making, and team performance.

• Ability to assist others in building confidence and proficiency with AI tools and practices.
