Configuration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage, monitor, and maintain changes and updates to the configuration database.

• Supervise version control for both software and hardware.

• Ensure accurate documentation of configuration changes and produce configuration status reports for presentation.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish configuration requirements.

• Formulate configuration management policies and plans, and carry out compliance audits.

• Facilitate meetings for the configuration and change control board.

• Track and manage configuration items and baselines, addressing configuration issues while providing technical support.

• Work in partnership with project managers regarding configuration modifications.

• Conduct risk assessments related to configuration changes.

• Assist in new configuration deployments by providing documentation and verification.

• Revise configuration documentation and system diagrams as necessary.

• Carry out space and power assessments within IT facilities to verify capacity for supporting change requests.

• Prepare and submit customer change requests to government leadership for review and approval.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned by OSC program management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with five or more years of relevant experience.

• Possession of and maintenance of a Secret Security Clearance is required.

• A valid SEC+ certification is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Visio is essential.

• Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) environments is preferred.
