This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee configuration management processes that support the implementation of enterprise healthcare technology.
• Sustain configuration baselines, manage version control, and maintain document repositories throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate updates to engineering documentation, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and various technical artifacts.
• Monitor configuration changes and ensure that all documentation accurately reflects approved updates.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, testing, and project management teams to uphold precise technical documentation.
• Assist with Integrated Design Reviews (IDR), Functional Readiness Reviews (FRR), and other governance initiatives by preparing configuration documentation and supporting materials.
• Maintain workflows for document approval and ensure that configuration items undergo proper review and release.
• Conduct configuration audits to confirm the accuracy of documentation and compliance with established standards.
• Support project governance by ensuring documentation and configuration records are ready for audits.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve configuration management, documentation quality, and operational efficiency.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in supporting configuration management, document control, technical documentation, or data management within enterprise IT settings.
• Proven experience in managing document repositories, version control processes, and configuration baselines.
• Strong organizational capabilities with an exceptional focus on detail.
• Experience in supporting documentation and engineering processes during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with configuration management principles, documentation standards, and quality assurance protocols.
• Preferred experience working with VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management.
• Preferred proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Git, or similar collaboration and configuration management tools.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
