Concrete Foreman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the concrete crew in collaboration with the onsite Superintendent.

• Evaluate site logistics and planning alongside the Superintendent.

• Manage manpower requests in conjunction with the onsite Superintendent.

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ascertain work requirements.

• Set forms, place reinforcing steel, and pour, level, and finish concrete.

• Inspect work areas to ensure that all tasks adhere to quality standards and deadlines.

• Prepare for and track material usage, coordinating with suppliers and project managers.

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to company policies and OSHA standards.

• Keep equipment and tools in optimal working condition.

• Carry out pre-pour checklists and post-pour inspections.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Communicate effectively with the onsite Superintendent, subcontractors, and other trades.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school certification is advantageous.

• At least 3 years of experience in concrete construction, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

• Comprehensive knowledge of concrete techniques, tools, and materials.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work in a physically demanding environment and under varying weather conditions.

• A valid driver’s license is required; a CDL is preferred but not mandatory.
