Concept Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of drops from inception to completion: including concept ideation, concept art, final product creation, and the promotional and merchandising artwork that brings a release to life.

• Create innovative clothing, characters, and accessories that reflect a unique perspective, transcending mere technical execution.

• Consistently deliver work that meets Drip Drop quality standards throughout each phase of the process, every week.

• Direct the creative vision for your drops — establish the vision proactively rather than waiting for one.

• Provide clear, constructive feedback that enhances the output of your fellow artists.

• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Producer regarding vision, scope, and timelines.

• Adapt based on team input and player feedback, demonstrating care for how the work is received in the game and the community, rather than focusing solely on its visual appeal in isolation.

• Collaborate with outside artists or studios as necessary, ensuring creative consistency and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A truly world-class portfolio that showcases strength across the entire pipeline from initial concept to final assets and promotional art, with a distinct fashion sensibility that speaks for itself.

• Proven experience managing creative projects from start to finish, rather than just one segment of the pipeline.

• Over 5 years of experience in fashion design, concept art, or a comparable creative field. Experience with live games or fast-paced environments is a significant advantage.

• A genuine passion for fashion: you stay current with trends, have strong viewpoints, and it reflects in every piece you create.

• Proficiency with modern design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Blender, Midjourney, etc.) — utilize any tool that helps you achieve the best outcome, including AI. Your vision, taste, and judgment remain entirely your own.

• The capability to produce outstanding work quickly. Both speed and quality are essential criteria.

• A strong sense of ownership. You propel the work forward, set the benchmarks, and elevate those around you.

• A background in fashion design or experience within the fashion industry is highly advantageous.
