Computer Science CTE Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver designated course material in a virtual setting

• Offer instruction, assistance, and support to students

• Track student advancement utilizing K12's learning management system

• Actively engage with students and parents to promote learning

• Create and oversee a strategy for post-secondary success

• Provide dynamic and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students

• Assist learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional challenges

• Maintain and effectively implement knowledge of State, National, and Industry Specific learning standards

• Collaborate frequently with the school and the national professional learning community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid state teaching license

• Capability to pass required background screening

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ability to work cooperatively with fellow educators

• Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms

• Experience working with the specified age group

• Experience assisting adults and children in utilizing technology

• Experience teaching in an online (virtual) environment and/or in a traditional classroom setting

• Familiarity with online learning platforms
