This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver instruction on both theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline in alignment with state academic standards.
• Teach courses in classroom, laboratory, or field settings that replicate industry environments.
• Develop course syllabi using the designated template.
• Incorporate modern technology into the classroom and laboratory settings.
• Assess student progress towards achieving goals and objectives.
• Evaluate and grade coursework promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Engage with students, staff, and educators regarding instructional programs and pertinent matters.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation and administrative reports.
• Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the discipline.
• Work collaboratively with faculty to define, assess, and evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Provide support to the Program Director and Division Dean/Associate Dean.
• Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.
• Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
• Respond to emails and requests within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours during weekends.
• Travel to other campuses for meetings, training sessions, and professional development as needed.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Programming, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Faculty must possess credentials that meet the requirements of all relevant accrediting bodies for the assigned course.
• Understanding of the mission of postsecondary technical education.
• Familiarity with academic course standards.
• Awareness of the College’s academic programs.
• Expertise in preparing and delivering classroom and lab content.
• Proficiency in using computers and job-related software applications.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Competence in accurate grade management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
