Computational Support Analyst – Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee storage utilization, identify potential bottlenecks, and strategize expansions or enhancements to avert future complications;

• Establish and uphold data retention, backup, and archival policies, ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulations;

• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related challenges, minimizing disruption to organizational operations;

• Conduct updates, patches, and maintenance of storage hardware and software to guarantee system stability and security;

• Keep comprehensive records of configurations, procedures, incidents, and enhancements made to storage systems;

• Engage in projects aimed at expanding or upgrading storage infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility;

• Apply security protocols, access controls, and encryption methods to safeguard stored information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.

• Must provide proof of experience in the specified specialty through entries in the Work and Social Security Card (Carteira de Trabalho e Previdência Social) or a declaration from a prior employer, demonstrating at least: installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of storage solutions utilizing Storage Area Network (SAN) technology.

• Completion of ITIL 4 training with a minimum duration of twelve (12) hours.

• Possession of an official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher.

• Completion of the HCIA – Storage V5.0 Course, or a subsequent version.
