
Compliance Program Manager – Government-Managed Healthcare Regulations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding regulatory and contractual obligations impacting Liberty Dental Plan’s business operations.
• Track, monitor, and maintain a database of regulatory requirements, providing key updates for leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute new contract and regulatory mandates.
• Conduct research and offer guidance on ad hoc compliance-related questions.
• Address client and regulatory audits, including the management of corrective action plans.
• Examine agreements, policies, and materials aimed at members to ensure adherence to relevant requirements.
• Supervise Liberty Dental Plan’s yearly risk assessment, compliance workplan, and testing initiatives.
• Evaluate compliance findings, recognize trends, and suggest recommendations for performance enhancement.
• Create and sustain compliance reporting tools, such as dashboards and tracking summaries.
• Lead initiatives and special projects related to compliance, fostering process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance training materials are current and coordinate training across the organization.
• Support the HIPAA compliance program, including managing incidents.
• Organize Compliance Committee meetings and prepare reports for the Board of Directors.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Liberty Dental Plan’s compliance culture.
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience with relevant certifications).
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in roles focused on regulatory compliance.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in HIPAA privacy compliance, including the implementation and management of HIPAA privacy programs.
• Experience in government-managed or regulated healthcare is preferred.
• Strong capabilities in critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficient in compiling, analyzing, and organizing regulatory data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, macros, external data connections preferred).
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
