Compliance & Legal Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee the Compliance Program.

• Create a Jira space that acts as the primary project management and coordination hub for compliance and legal initiatives, ensuring tasks are directed to the appropriate Jira space and monitored effectively.

• Intake and prioritize initiatives from Compliance and Legal, manage cross-functional Epics, and guide them from conception to completion.

• Convert compliance and legal requirements into actionable execution plans.

• Coordinate the execution process across Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Operations, and external stakeholders.

• Ensure that necessary legal and bank reviews and approvals are secured, documented, and monitored.

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating issues as needed.

• Provide clear status updates and visibility on deliveries to Compliance and Legal leadership, ensuring that initiatives conclude with appropriate validation, approvals, and retained evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a comparable role.

• Proven experience in delivering complex initiatives that span multiple teams.

• Prior experience in regulated industries is strongly preferred.

• Ability to work closely with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Legal teams.

• Extensive experience utilizing Jira to manage cross-functional tasks, including Epics, stories, and interlinked workflows across various projects.

• Demonstrated capability to manage a program build or initiative board that aligns work carried out by other teams.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, release processes, and change management protocols.

• Experience working in controlled or regulated change environments.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
