Compliance & Investigations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Execute independent investigations into high-risk cases assigned by management.

• Collect, review, and analyze documentation, communications, and evidence from various sources.

• Conduct focused research utilizing LinkedIn, social media, public records, and online tools.

• Carry out interviews with relevant stakeholders (employees, contractors, clients) as necessary.

• Develop investigative findings and impartial recommendations based on evidence analysis.

• Create written reports that summarize facts, conclusions, risk assessments, and escalation recommendations.

• Ensure accurate, organized, and confidential case documentation is maintained.

• Identify trends, patterns, and recurring compliance risks across cases.

• Suggest process enhancements and assist in risk mitigation initiatives.

• Leverage technology and AI-assisted research tools to enhance investigative efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in LATAM or The Caribbean.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in investigations, compliance, HR, employee relations, risk management, auditing, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and interviewing skills.

• Proven capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online business tools.

• Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple cases at the same time.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)—capable of effective communication with US-based teams.
