This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Provide guidance to Sales and business stakeholders on contractual issues and negotiate both domestic and international commercial agreements.
• Oversee contract-related risks and obligations.
• Formulate strategies to minimize contractual claims, including change orders, damages, and liquidated damages.
• Create, review, and enhance contract templates in collaboration with Legal and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and refine the Compliance Management System, Risk Management System, policies, processes, and internal controls.
• Identify, evaluate, monitor, and report on significant business risks.
• Offer advice to management and business functions regarding compliance, risk, and regulatory issues.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, internal assessments, and coordinate both internal and external audits.
• Support global adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including supply chain compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity, information security, antitrust, anti-corruption, export controls, and whistleblower protections.
• Generate reports, decision papers, action plans, and governance updates for executive management.
• Design and implement global compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Investigate compliance incidents and oversee corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, IT, Quality Management, and operational business units.
• Report directly to the Business Unit CFO and liaise closely with Group Compliance & ISMS and regional compliance representatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Legal, Corporate Governance, or similar roles.
• Strong comprehension of business operations and commercial processes, preferably in an international industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, supply chain due diligence, data privacy, antitrust laws, export controls, and whistleblower programs.
• Experience in contract management within mechanical and plant engineering or a similar industrial sector.
• Highly organized, analytical, and solution-focused, demonstrating strong integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to distill complex topics into actionable business guidance.
• Capacity to establish credibility and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with compliance, risk, governance, or audit management software is preferred.
