Compliance & Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to Sales and business stakeholders regarding contractual issues and negotiate both domestic and international commercial agreements.

• Oversee contract-related risks and responsibilities.

• Formulate strategies to reduce contractual claims, such as change orders, damages, and liquidated damages.

• Create, review, and enhance contract templates in collaboration with Legal and cross-functional teams.

• Establish and maintain the Compliance Management System, Risk Management System, along with policies, processes, and internal controls.

• Identify, evaluate, monitor, and report on significant business risks.

• Counsel management and business functions on compliance, risk, and regulatory issues.

• Carry out risk assessments, control reviews, internal evaluations, and coordinate both internal and external audits.

• Assist in global compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including supply chain compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity, information security, antitrust, anti-corruption, export controls, and whistleblower protection.

• Prepare reports, decision documents, action plans, and governance updates for executive management.

• Design and implement global compliance training and awareness programs.

• Investigate compliance incidents and track corrective and preventive measures.

• Work in partnership with Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, IT, Quality Management, and operational business units.

• Report directly to the Business Unit CFO and collaborate closely with Group Compliance & ISMS and regional compliance representatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Law, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

• Professional experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Legal, Corporate Governance, or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of business operations and commercial processes, preferably within an international industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, supply chain due diligence, data privacy, antitrust law, export controls, and whistleblower programs.

• Experience in contract management within mechanical and plant engineering or a similar industrial field.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and solution-driven skills.

• High integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to convert complex subjects into actionable business guidance.

• Ability to establish credibility and collaborate across all organizational levels.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office.

• Familiarity with compliance, risk, governance, or audit management software is preferred.
