This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Provide support, practical management, and guidance to ensure that Company operations adhere to ethical business practices, Company policies, and legal/regulatory standards.
• Advise business units and safeguard the Company's interests in corporate, legal, and regulatory issues.
• Oversee carrier compliance investigations regarding alleged breaches of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Document notifications, manage both internal and external communications, and track investigations to ensure timely responses.
• Identify compliance trends by monitoring internal and external reporting.
• Assist in creating compliance guidelines and tools.
• Provide support in call center management.
• Coordinate, document, maintain, and monitor compliance records, reports, and analyses.
• Support internal and external audits and designated compliance matters.
• Review advertisements created by agents, as well as social media content and websites.
• Offer guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with the submission of marketing materials to carriers and for regulatory approval when required.
• Support the Compliance Officer in administering and enhancing the Company's Compliance Program.
• Assist with responses to alleged violations and report violations or potential violations to authorized enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Monitor statutes and regulations and communicate updates throughout the Company and its downstream agents.
• Aid in the development and oversight of compliance training for employees and downstream agents.
• Monitor and coordinate compliance activities across business units, including tracking and reporting essential compliance metrics.
• Identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Participate in relevant internal and external committees.
• Assist with special projects and assignments as requested by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
• One (1) or more years of compliance experience.
• Experience in the insurance industry or a related field (financial services or marketing).
• Carrier certification with MA/PDP.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, along with industry regulations.
• Familiarity with the insurance services industries.
• Understanding of general industry procedures, practices, and terminology.
• Knowledge of systems management.
• Awareness of general office forms, processes, and procedures.
• Understanding of program and project management, including outcomes, quality assurance, and satisfaction measurement and interpretation.
• Knowledge of supervisory techniques to facilitate instruction, motivation, and training.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train effectively.
• Skills in engaging effectively with inbound and outbound callers/customers.
• Proficiency in negotiation and problem-solving to resolve internal and external conflicts.
• Competence in using office equipment, including computers, fax machines, printers, and telephone systems.
• Skill in time management.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all customers, employees, and the general public.
• Proficient computer skills (preferred software includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Outlook).
• Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a constructive manner.
• Ability to engage and communicate with a diverse range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner.
• Capacity to remain patient under stressful circumstances and demonstrate controlled emotional responses in difficult situations.
• Proficiency in effective interpersonal interaction, verbal communication, and written communication.
• Ability to maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail while being flexible and responsive to multiple urgent requests.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English effectively.
• Ability to uphold all company policies, including confidentiality and safety protocols.

• Skill in developing and nurturing trusting relationships.
• Strong verbal and written proficiency in the English language is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
