Compliance and Controls AI Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, and enhancing AI-driven solutions for financial compliance and control processes.

• Utilizing automation and analytics tools to ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Collaborating with finance, audit, and technology teams to reinforce internal control frameworks.

• Assessing existing controls and deploying intelligent monitoring systems for continuous compliance.

• Assisting in internal and external audits through AI tools to optimize audit preparation, documentation, and evidence collection.

• Ensuring the precise application of revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and aiding lease accounting processes (ASC 842 / IFRS 16) with automation tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards, with the capability to interpret and implement them in practical situations.

• Demonstrated experience in designing internal controls, along with testing and audit support.

• Practical experience with revenue recognition and lease accounting procedures.

• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, or automation tools within finance (e.g., RPA, machine learning-based monitoring systems).

• Ability to convert accounting requirements into scalable, technology-based solutions.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with finance, audit, and technology teams.

• CA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.

• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial compliance.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

• Background in digital transformation or finance automation initiatives is an advantage.
