📋 Description

• Develop and implement a contemporary, AI-centric competitive intelligence function, encompassing workflows, source libraries, monitoring systems, and reporting schedules.

• Gather, synthesize, and organize competitive and market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, product offerings, partnerships, talent, and broader market signals.

• Create and sustain competitor profiles, battlecards, trackers, dashboards, and intelligence repositories for internal utilization.

• Provide timely and actionable insights to field and corporate stakeholders to enhance positioning, guide decisions, and support execution.

• Establish systems to monitor and analyze trends in cybersecurity, Human and Agentic Risk Management, AI/ML, related markets, regulatory changes, emerging threats, and technological advancements.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Analyst in Competitive Intelligence & Strategy on ecosystem, corporate development, and more extensive market analyses.

• Conduct ongoing competitive research by monitoring earnings calls, analyst reports, third-party tools (e.g., AlphaSense, Crayon, Gong), field intelligence, and utilizing AI to uncover strategic insights that inform deal strategy and sales enablement.

• Perform detailed analyses of cybersecurity competitors, focusing on product features, pricing models, market positioning, strategic direction, and customer perceptions.

• Work closely with product marketing, sales, and product management teams to bolster competitive positioning and strategic initiatives.

• Execute competitive research to gain firsthand insights into competitor sales tactics, messaging, product demonstrations, and customer experiences.

• Provide prompt alerts and briefings to internal stakeholders regarding competitive movements, market shifts, or disruptive industry trends.

• Lead competitive win-loss analysis projects, identifying patterns, insights, and actionable recommendations to enhance win rates.

• Present findings from competitive intelligence in a clear and persuasive manner to executives and cross-functional teams to inform strategic planning.

• Drive workstreams within high-priority strategic initiatives across the organization, taking ownership from problem definition through execution and delivery.

• Support and help lead cross-functional projects encompassing go-to-market strategy, partnerships and alliances, international expansion, and other essential business priorities.

• Convert strategic priorities into actionable plans, monitor progress, and ensure initiatives advance with speed and accountability.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align on priorities and facilitate execution.

• Structure complex business challenges, formulate hypotheses, and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Create executive- and board-ready materials, including strategic updates, analyses, and decision-support content.

• Identify and assess growth opportunities across markets, customer segments, and routes to market, and support execution where applicable.

• Interpret market dynamics into clear strategic implications and recommended actions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, data analytics, information science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a comparable analytical field.

• 0-3+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, strategy, market research, consulting, research operations, or a similar analytical role in SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity.

• Experience utilizing a combination of paid research tools and open-source intelligence sources is strongly preferred.

• Practical experience with AI tools, automation, scraping/monitoring workflows, knowledge systems, or analytics tools is strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to transform fragmented data into coherent insights.

• Proven capability to establish repeatable research processes and uphold high-quality intelligence assets.

• Comfort working with AI-enabled research tools, automation workflows, databases, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear executive-ready slides and memos.

• Keen attention to detail, sound judgment regarding source quality, and the ability to distinguish signal from noise.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across GTM, Product, Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders in a fast-paced growth environment.

• A strong curiosity about cybersecurity, Human Risk Management, AI/ML, and related markets.
