This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for managing the company's compensation programs.
• Aids in the design of plans and spearheads the execution of annual performance and compensation cycles.
• Responsible for evaluating programs, recommending changes, and ensuring alignment with competitive market standards and organizational goals.
• Guarantees that programs address employee requirements, adhere to legal standards, are cost-effective, and bolster the organization's capacity to attract and retain premier talent.
• Manages compensation procedures.
• Collaborates with HR Business Partners and finance to plan, develop, and implement employee programs.
• Formulates and enacts plans and policies that deliver a competitive employee value proposition.
• Oversees the annual incentive process in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
• Supervises and manages the performance management cycle.
• Contributes to and provides guidance on the creation of bonus and incentive plan designs.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and performance management cycles and programs.
• Ensures data accuracy and compliance of compensation plans with the company’s policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent military experience.
• Advanced Degree or MBA is preferred.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CCP, or CEBS) is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in Compensation within a publicly traded small to mid-sized US organization.
• Experience in a multi-state environment (including California) working with exempt, non-exempt, and union employees.
• Sales compensation experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with HRIS (preferably Workday), reporting, and HR Analytics.
• Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements pertaining to employee compensation programs.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide customer service while exercising discretion and professionalism when managing highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Project Management skills with the capability to execute projects independently.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS (preferably Workday).
