This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver daily compensation assistance to the Digital Capability, which includes ad-hoc modeling and marketing analysis, reviewing special exception offers, and providing business best practice advice.
• Oversee the annual year-end and mid-year compensation processes.
• Execute the annual compensation benchmarking study by evaluating market conditions and presenting market trends to firm leadership.
• Manage the compensation elements and processes within Workday.
• Initiate and lead various compensation projects.
• Design, assess, and administer sales compensation plans with established guardrails and governance.
• Construct and maintain intricate sales compensation models to evaluate plan effectiveness, sales costs, and behavioral outcomes; effectively communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Create and sustain a comprehensive sales compensation policy library, including plan document templates, exception/waiver logs, RACI matrices, and standard operating procedures for plan operations and controls.
• Review and provide guidance on non-standard sales compensation arrangements, such as special incentive plans, draw structures, and exception requests.
• Examine sales performance and incentive results to uncover trends, risks, and areas for improvement, and share findings with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in compensation roles.
• Experience in managing compensation design and administration within a complex organization.
• Demonstrated experience with commission/bonus design, accelerators, draws/guarantees, and payout governance.
• Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Highly skilled in analytics and modeling.
• Understanding of the accounting and finance implications related to compensation plans and programs.
• Preferred experience working with technical-focused roles.
• Client service-oriented mindset with experience in managing the development and design of compensation programs in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
• Preferred experience using Workday’s compensation modules.
