This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of compensation partnerships for both the EPD and G&A groups, acting as the main contact for benchmarking, band inquiries, and compensation decisions within these areas.
• Lead the entire compensation cycle programs and enablement processes, managing year-end and mid-year cycles from timelines and resources to manager support and closure reporting.
• Develop and sustain analytical models for compensation scenario analysis, band assessments, equity burn projections, and internal equity reports; convert complex results into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Oversee and enhance our compensation and equity systems, including Pave and Carta, ensuring data accuracy and consistency as we grow.
• Work proactively with PBPs, Finance, and EPD leadership to align compensation strategies with workforce planning—highlighting risks and insights proactively and acting as a reliable thought partner on compensation matters.
• Identify and bridge gaps in compensation infrastructure—enhancing operational workflows, documentation, and tools with a focus on automating and standardizing processes to support a larger, global team in the future.
• Assist with compensation-related compliance initiatives, ensuring our practices remain competitive and consistent as we expand.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance your contributions—we encourage everyone at Vanta to actively seek out ways AI can increase their effectiveness in their roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of in-house compensation experience within a technology company, with proven program ownership at the senior individual contributor level.
• Practical experience using Radford for job matching, data collection, and benchmarking methodologies (mandatory).
• Proven history of managing complete compensation cycles (merit, equity, promotions) independently in-house, rather than in a support or coordination role.
• Strong analytical modeling capabilities paired with the ability to distill complex findings into clear recommendations for business leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
• Established ability to build trust with PBPs, Finance, and managers as a proactive thought partner who identifies issues prior to being prompted.
• Experience in organizations with 1,000+ employees; prior exposure to pre-IPO or public companies is preferred.
• Experience with the EPD population is advantageous.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
