This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the evaluation, design, and execution of Veracyte’s job architecture and career framework.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards to address design choices and provide a framework suitable for enterprise use.
• Offer expertise in job leveling, title governance, job families, career pathways, and role mapping.
• Examine job architecture artifacts, leveling guides, title catalogs, job inventories, and vendor outputs.
• Detect design deficiencies, implementation challenges, and necessary decisions prior to rollout.
• Record design principles, governance standards, and decision-making criteria.
• Affirm career levels, tracks, job families, leveling criteria, and title structures across various functions and regions.
• Establish governance for role creation, leveling, title modifications, and maintenance of job architecture.
• Complete or enhance enterprise job inventories and align current positions with the sanctioned architecture.
• Spot inconsistencies, exceptions, and corrective measures.
• Convey job architecture concepts to HR stakeholders, leaders, managers, and employees.
• Create materials for the career framework, leveling guides, manager talking points, employee FAQs, and governance documentation.
• Assist with merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and offers for new hires.
• Collaborate with HRIS and HR Operations to guarantee the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of compensation data and systems.
• Manage ad hoc compensation projects and initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in job architecture design and compensation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Workday Advanced Compensation module.
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on enterprise job architecture, career frameworks, leveling models, job families, and title structures.
• Strong comprehension of compensation structures, job evaluation methodologies, career paths, and the role of job architecture in pay, talent, and workforce decisions.
• Experience with role mapping, job inventory analysis, governance design, and implementation planning within complex organizations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently, apply sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with HR leadership, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, including creating executive-ready materials, mapping tools, governance documents, and implementation resources.
• Candidates must reside on the West Coast and be able to work within the Pacific Time Zone (PST).
• Availability during core business hours of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST is necessary.
• Experience with ADP payroll software and PowerPoint is highly preferred.
• Preferred: experience advising fast-growing or global organizations; global or multi-region job architecture; manager toolkits, employee FAQs, change-management materials, and rollout roadmaps; consulting or external-consultant partnership experience.
• CCP, SHRM, HRCI, or similar certification is advantageous.
