This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance global salary bands and job architecture, ensuring they align with market data and maintain internal equity.
• Perform continuous benchmarking utilizing survey sources (such as Radford/Aon, Carta, and others) and offer recommendations regarding pay positioning.
• Assist with annual merit, promotion, and compensation review cycles — including developing tools, reviewing data inputs, and auditing outputs for consistency and fairness.
• Collaborate with People Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation advice for new roles, offers, and promotions across various levels and regions.
• Address ad hoc compensation inquiries from leadership and employees, translating data into clear, actionable guidance in accordance with internal pay practices.
• Monitor pay equity within the organization and identify patterns that require further review.
• Manage equity grants (RSUs, stock options) from start to finish: processing grants, overseeing vesting schedules, handling terminations, and managing related equity lifecycle events.
• Act as the main liaison with our equity platform (such as Carta or an equivalent) and internal Finance/Legal teams.
• Ensure data integrity across equity records; reconcile discrepancies between the equity platform and HRIS.
• Assist with equity-related disclosures, audits, and reporting obligations.
• Facilitate compliance with international equity tax regulations across EarnIn’s operating jurisdictions.
• Educate employees about their equity awards and help create resources that make equity comprehensible throughout the organization.
• Stay informed on global equity regulations (especially in jurisdictions where EarnIn has employees) and proactively identify compliance considerations.
• Develop and maintain compensation dashboards and reports that provide leadership with visibility into spending, distribution, and equity across the organization.
• Contribute to the enhancement and development of compensation processes and documentation as we scale.
• Collaborate with PxT Operations and Finance on headcount planning and compensation modeling.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related analytical field (such as finance, HR analytics, or consulting).
• Strong understanding of broad-based compensation principles — including salary structures, market pricing, job leveling, and pay equity.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including experience working with large datasets and constructing structured models.
• Familiarity with at least one compensation survey methodology (Radford/Aon, Mercer, Compdata, or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail with a history of identifying errors before they escalate into issues.
• Clear and effective communicator capable of explaining compensation decisions to non-specialists.
• Ability to manage sensitive compensation and employee data with the necessary confidentiality.
• Experience in equity administration: knowledge of grant processing, vesting schedules, and RSU/option mechanics is advantageous.
• Experience in a global organization with employees across multiple countries is a plus.
• Familiarity with an HRIS (such as Workday, Rippling, or similar) is a plus.
