This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
⢠Collaborate with communities to build relationships, identify needs, and assist individuals in understanding and managing their stroke risk.
⢠Engage closely with those impacted by stroke, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other essential stakeholders.
⢠Enhance community resilience and overall wellbeing.
⢠Link individuals to appropriate information and resources.
⢠Strengthen local capabilities.
⢠Maximize the effectiveness of Stroke Aotearoaās efforts throughout the region.
⢠Proven experience in the health, community, rehabilitation, or disability sectors.
⢠Self-motivated and able to work independently.
⢠Proficient in empathetic communication and effective engagement with diverse age groups and stakeholders.
⢠Experience working with vulnerable and varied communities.
⢠Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
⢠Capable of facilitating training and educational initiatives in the community.
⢠Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
⢠Proficient in using Microsoft Suite products, specifically MS Word, TEAMS, and PowerPoint.
⢠Competent in general information technology.
⢠Ability to function both independently and as part of a larger team.
⢠Willingness to travel regionally, including occasional overnight stays.
⢠Must possess a full, clean driverās license.
⢠Currently eligible to work in New Zealand.
