Community Resource Advisor – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conducts interviews with clients and performs a comprehensive assessment of their needs.

• Identifies suitable resources for client assistance.

• Aids the client in executing the referral process and, when applicable, facilitates connections with other agencies.

• Acts as an advocate for the inquirer, when necessary, to help them access and utilize resources.

• Follows up to ensure that the needs of the inquirer have been satisfactorily addressed.

• Employs crisis management techniques in line with agency protocols.

• Maintains comprehensive and precise documentation.

• Responsible for keeping up-to-date with all ongoing training requirements for both services.

• Assists with community outreach activities as directed by the management team.

• Actively participates in agency programs and events.

• Provides support for operations during disaster situations as outlined by agency policy.

• Keeps current knowledge of agency processes, policies, and procedures.

• Performs any additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma and experience in human services is preferred.

• Completion of a 40-hour classroom training is required (provided by Gryphon Place).

• This position necessitates availability from Monday to Friday.

• Must be available during evening hours.
