This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Plan and organize logistics for various Galaxy-hosted events, which include public and community-oriented gatherings, as well as internal team meetings.

• Manage relationships with vendors covering catering, audio/visual needs, décor, and venue selection.

• Create and uphold event timelines, run-of-show documents, and summaries following events.

• Work together with internal teams to ensure events align with Galaxy’s brand standards and act as an extension of our community relations strategy.

• Manage guest communications, RSVPs, and on-the-day attendee oversight.

• Conduct site inspections and final walkthroughs to verify event preparedness.

• Optimize the use of Galaxy's hospitality assets by overseeing all aspects of suite operations at a local sports and entertainment venue to foster relationship-building with key stakeholders, partners, and community members.

• Manage ticket tracking, allocation, and distribution among internal stakeholders and guests.

• Coordinate food and beverage services, collaborating with venue staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

• Keep accurate records of suite usage, guest lists, and associated expenses.

• Support the Community Relations Manager in nurturing relationships with local leaders, civic organizations, nonprofits, and community stakeholders across Galaxy’s operational markets.

• Represent Galaxy at community meetings, public forums, local events, and civic functions as required.

• Identify and assist in coordinating community partnership opportunities, sponsorships, and grant program activities to advance Galaxy’s community initiatives.

• Monitor and maintain records of community engagement activities, stakeholder contacts, and outreach efforts for effective reporting and consistency.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related discipline.

• Excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Capability to manage multiple events and timelines concurrently.

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-touch guest and stakeholder environments.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
