Community Manager – Senior Level Considered

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for students and their families throughout their Empowerly journey.

• Foster strong relationships with families through proactive communication and support.

• Address inquiries, resolve issues, and assist families in navigating the admissions process.

• Collaborate with counselors and internal teams to ensure students remain focused on their goals.

• Track student engagement and pinpoint opportunities for further assistance.

• Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.

• Handle incoming support requests and customer communications effectively.

• Keep accurate records and documentation within Empowerly systems.

• Coordinate family communications regarding onboarding, counselor transitions, scheduling, and other program updates.

• Execute operational tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure a consistent experience for families throughout all phases of the program.

• Address customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

• Escalate issues when necessary while maintaining a positive experience for families.

• For senior-level team members, act as a point person for more complex or sensitive customer situations.

• Collaborate with Community Operations leadership to identify recurring challenges and propose solutions.

• Discover opportunities to enhance workflows and improve the family experience.

• Share insights and suggestions that help the team operate more effectively.

• Assist with projects aimed at improving Community Management operations.

• For senior-level team members, take charge of larger operational initiatives and coordinate projects involving multiple stakeholders.

• Work closely with counselors, operations leaders, and cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

• Support onboarding and training efforts for new team members as needed.

• Stay flexible and adaptable as business needs change.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• 4+ years of experience in customer service, customer success, account management, education, operations, or a related field.

• Experience working directly with customers, students, families, or clients.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.

• Comfort with learning and utilizing multiple systems and technologies.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• A positive attitude, strong empathy, and a genuine desire to assist others.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

• Must reside and work within the United States.
