This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a community engagement strategy aimed at supporting a growing international audience.

• Seek out opportunities to broaden community outreach, enhance engagement, and promote adoption.

• Create and sustain community programs, activation plans, and engagement calendars.

• Continuously refine community initiatives by utilizing data, feedback, and performance analytics.

• Manage and cultivate an active community of educators, parents, and learners across various platforms.

• Act as a reliable advocate for the community, ensuring their needs and viewpoints are represented.

• Encourage meaningful interactions through discussions, content, events, and direct engagement.

• Uphold a safe, inclusive, and supportive community environment in line with best practices.

• Lead and assist in community programs, including ambassador initiatives, training sessions, and events.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and social teams to synchronize messaging, campaigns, and initiatives.

• Provide community insights to guide product strategy, feature development, and user experience.

• Contribute to and support community-oriented content across social media and owned platforms.

• Track community health, engagement metrics, and sentiment trends.

• Compile regular reports summarizing insights, performance, and opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in community management, social media, or a related discipline.

• Experience with education, educators, or edtech communities.

• Knowledge of gaming or game-based learning platforms (e.g., familiarity with Minecraft is a plus).

• Proven experience in managing and engaging online communities across social or community platforms.

• Strong grasp of community engagement strategies and best practices.

• Proficient in using data and insights to drive decisions and enhance performance.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for education, digital communities, and interactive platforms.
