This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Africa.

📋 Description

• Enhance Included VC Africa’s community partnerships, focusing on expanding our outreach in underserved markets while furthering the organization’s vision.

• Actively seek and facilitate career opportunities for Fellows by connecting them with suitable roles, arranging warm introductions, and assisting their integration into the investment ecosystem.

• Foster an environment for each cohort—and the broader network surrounding it—to evolve into a self-sustaining community that supports individual journeys through technology and entrepreneurship.

• Contribute to crafting and disseminating the Fellowship's narrative—featuring Fellows, highlighting in-depth analyses and insights, and increasing visibility of internal program activities across the ecosystem.

• Develop and sustain significant relationships within the global venture and startup ecosystem.

• Collaborate with the Founder/CEO to provide exceptional experiences.

• Gradually establish robust relationships with founders, investors, sponsors, and other members of the Included VC Africa global community.

• Conceptualize and implement new experimental offerings based on feedback and your own innovative ideas.

• Ensure that Fellows consistently describe their experience as career-defining, community-enhancing, and unparalleled in their professional journeys.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Fellows, acting as our eyes and ears on the ground by cultivating strong relationships with each individual.

• Possesses experience and connections in the entrepreneurial and investment landscape, with the ability to forge meaningful relationships among founders, investors, sponsors, and the broader community.

• Exhibits a strong “spirit of service,” prioritizing how you can contribute rather than take, and consistently seeking ways to support Fellows to the fullest of your capacity.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and charisma—enjoys establishing new relationships, building trust across diverse individuals and environments, and representing Included VC Africa in a warm and effective manner.

• Strong communication abilities—verbal, written, and presentational, with a knack for identifying stories, articulating them clearly, and effectively sharing the Fellowship's work.

• Commercially and socially astute—capable of spotting opportunities, making thoughtful introductions, assisting Fellows in gaining genuine traction, and understanding what resonates within the larger ecosystem.
