
Community Health Worker β Mobile Clinic Champion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Safely operate the mobile medical clinic to designated locations within the community.
β’ Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked, organized, and in good working condition; promptly report any mechanical or equipment problems.
β’ Prepare and set up the clinic to ensure it is ready to serve patients effectively.
β’ Maintain precise records of the clinicβs schedules, locations, and patient flow.
β’ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
β’ Oversee and manage all facets of clinic operations.
β’ Welcome patients, provide information regarding available services, and ensure their comfort during visits.
β’ Assist in data collection efforts to evaluate community health needs and enhance services.
β’ Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper handling of medical supplies and maintaining patient confidentiality.
β’ Follow health, safety, transportation, and mobile healthcare regulations.
β’ Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the mobile clinic.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in healthcare, community health, or a related discipline is advantageous.
β’ Preferred experience in community health, patient outreach, or a related area.
β’ BLS certification is mandatory.
β’ Bilingual proficiency is required.
β’ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be able to drive a large vehicle (mobile clinic).
β’ Ability to drive for extended durations.
β’ Capable of lifting 30 pounds and assisting with the setup of mobile clinic equipment.
β’ Basic understanding of health education, preventative care, and community resources.
β’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in both indoor and outdoor settings.
β’ 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service.
