Community Health Worker – Mobile Clinic Champion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Safely operate the mobile medical clinic to designated locations within the community.

• Ensure the vehicle is well-stocked, organized, and in good working condition; promptly report any mechanical or equipment problems.

• Prepare and set up the clinic to ensure it is ready to serve patients effectively.

• Maintain precise records of the clinic’s schedules, locations, and patient flow.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

• Oversee and manage all facets of clinic operations.

• Welcome patients, provide information regarding available services, and ensure their comfort during visits.

• Assist in data collection efforts to evaluate community health needs and enhance services.

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper handling of medical supplies and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Follow health, safety, transportation, and mobile healthcare regulations.

• Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the mobile clinic.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in healthcare, community health, or a related discipline is advantageous.

• Preferred experience in community health, patient outreach, or a related area.

• BLS certification is mandatory.

• Bilingual proficiency is required.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must be able to drive a large vehicle (mobile clinic).

• Ability to drive for extended durations.

• Capable of lifting 30 pounds and assisting with the setup of mobile clinic equipment.

• Basic understanding of health education, preventative care, and community resources.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in both indoor and outdoor settings.
